Transforming Literacy in Assam

This short film follows the journey of the Jolly Futures in Assam Literacy Project.  

The project began with six pilot schools in 2022, expanded to 400 government schools in 2023 and has since involved more than 2,200 government schools.

It explores the challenges teachers and pupils faced, how Jolly Phonics was introduced to support early literacy, and the positive impact the project has had on classrooms across the region.
