      Jolly Phonics & Jolly Literacy 1&2 Full training. Participants will feel confident in teaching Jolly Phonics and Jolly Literacy 1&2 after receiving the training, everyone will receive free downloadable materials from the Jolly Learning web page, attendance certificates and free access to Jolly Classroom for a month.

      Overview of the Jolly Phonics program and how it supports early literacy. Training on all 42 sounds with actions, stories, and correct pronunciation. Practice in blending and segmenting to help children read and spell. How to teach tricky words in a fun and effective way. Hands-on multisensory activities that teachers can use in the classroom.       Jolly Phonics Teacher Training Programme

      What is Jolly Phonics? Jolly Phonics is a UK based fun and child centred curriculum for teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers, who can see their students achieve. The letter sounds are split into seven groups. How does Jolly Phonics work? Using a synthetic phonics approach, Jolly Phonics teaches children the five key skills for reading and writing. The programme continues through school enabling the teaching of essential grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. The five skills taught in Jolly Phonics: 1. Learning the letter sounds 2. Learning letter formation 3. Blending 4. Identifying the sounds in words (Segmenting) 5. Tricky words

      Jolly Grammar/Literacy Levels 1-6 Teacher Training Programme

      What is Jolly Grammar/Lieteracy?* Jolly Grammar/Literacy is an active, fun, easy and a multi-sensory programme. It helps children bring diversity in their writing and enhance their spelling in a structured way. Jolly Grammar/Literacy teaches a wide range of language forms including the parts of speech, plurals, punctuation, and the tenses past, present, and future. It also teaches a wide range of spelling rules, including defining aspects such as the short vowels. Who can attend? This ‘Jolly Grammar/Literacy Teacher Training Programme’ is suitable for elementary/primary teachers, head-teachers, classroom assistants, parents, entrepreneurs and anyone who’s interested in learning about the programme. Jolly Phonics teachers can introduce Jolly Grammar/Literacy as the next stage in their classrooms.

      This event will be divided in three sessions of two hours each. It has been designed for a state school in Madrid that is interested in getting started with Jolly Phonics. I will train the English Teachers to know the method in deep so as they can start introducing next year.
