Jolly Phonics First Steps

This event will be divided in three sessions of two hours each. It has been designed for a state school in Madrid that is interested in getting started with Jolly Phonics. I will train the English Teachers to know the method in deep so as they can start introducing next year.

Overview

An introduction to the origins and aim of Jolly Phonics, the five basic skills (learning the letter sounds, letter formation, Blending, segmenting, Tricky words), Alternative sounds, Magic e, Readers and Jolly Classroom.

Leticia Barco is a Jolly Phonics and Grammar professional Trainer. She is Graduated as Infant Education Teacher (1997) and Primary English Teacher (2000) by Universidad Complutense in Madrid and has been teaching English to Infant and Primary children since 2000. She has worked as Languages Coordinator in several schools in Toledo, and has been Infant Education tutor in bilingüal Schools in Madrid and Toledo. Leticia Barco has been always interested in teaching and is also graduated as "Expert in dealing with the teaching of reading and writing with struggle students"
