Kayoko Yamashita
Kayoko is a qualified primary and secondary school teacher in Japan and has worked in schools in both Japan and England. She holds an MA in Special Needs Education from the University of Nottingham. She has extensive experience supporting Japanese-speaking children with dyslexia and has seen how Jolly Phonics can boost their self-esteem and confidence in learning English. Since 2013, Kayoko has introduced Jolly Phonics to local education authorities in Japan and delivered teacher training across the country.
