Naomi is an experienced educator, education consultant and teacher trainer with 15 years’ experience supporting teachers and schools to create confident, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
She first began using Jolly Phonics as a classroom teacher in South Sudan in 2020 and has since used and supported the programme in schools in Libya. Her experience includes teaching children aged 4–7, reading assessment, lesson planning, modelling, classroom observation, teacher mentoring and supporting schools with implementation. She has particular experience working with ESL learners and children with diverse learning needs.
With a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education specialising in Autism and Learning Design, Naomi brings a broader understanding of literacy, inclusion and effective teacher development to her Jolly Phonics training.
Her training is practical, engaging and focused on classroom application. Through clear explanations, modelling, hands-on activities and discussion, she helps teachers understand not only what to do, but why it works.
Her goal is to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to use Jolly Phonics effectively—and help every child take those important steps from sounds, to words, to reading and writing.
