Atsuko Maruyama is a Tokyo-based Jolly Phonics and Jolly Literacy Official Trainer, certified since 2019. She provides tailored teacher training in English and Japanese for international schools, public and private schools, language schools and tutoring centres across Japan. Teaching since 2007, she shares practical strategies and original activities to develop reading, spelling and writing, with expertise in supporting Japanese-speaking learners and children with dyslexia. As head of Jolly Study Square, an official distributor, she helps schools select and use resources, informed by exchanges with Jolly Learning and its authors.
