Freda has trained in a number of schools. Her training focuses on providing skills and techniques that will support teachers whilst teaching synthetic phonics to children. The training also provides model lessons that demonstrate  how to attain the maximum benefit from all the Jolly Phonics Resources and additional resources that support non-native children to ensure that they have a successful outcome from the Jolly Phonics programme.

I have extensive experience working and training teachers internationally, with a strong focus on implementing and delivering Jolly Phonics, to suit every teaching dynamic. I began using Jolly Phonics over 25 years ago in the UK and have witnessed the program's growth, including the expansion of Jolly English, Jolly Literacy, and Jolly Classroom. To support schools in their journey with Jolly Phonics, I offer Phonics Leader, Language Arts and Middle Management orientation, benchmarking, and desired outcomes consultancies. These services aim to ensure consistency in the program's use and to establish clear benchmarks for literacy goals. Additionally, I provide a range of training and support options for using Jolly Phonics or Jolly English. This includes foundational knowledge for children, guidance for transitioning to Jolly Phonics, and comprehensive planning support.
