Stephen is a professionally trained teacher and holds a Bachelor degree with first class honours in Early Childhood Education. The ease and fun with which teachers and pupils engage in Jolly Phonics classrooms made the Jolly Phonics method a ready favourite to him.

Although Stephen teaches in a rural community, his pupils achieve great progress in learning to read and write early because of the Jolly Phonics method. In addition to teaching, Stephen also mentors other teachers’ teaching of Jolly Phonics in the Bolgatanga Municipality of Upper East Region, Ghana.
