Clare Marie Kafwimbi is a highly accomplished primary educator with over 20 years of classroom and leadership experience in international schools across Zambia and Southern Africa. Currently serving as her school’s Curriculum Lead, she plays a key role in teacher training and development, delivering engaging CPD sessions that inspire confidence and creativity among educators. First inspired by a Jolly Phonics training course she attended, Clare was immediately drawn to its multi-sensory, active learning and child-centred approach and soon became a passionate advocate for systematic synthetic phonics. Since then, she has joined the training teams delivering Jolly Phonics training across Zambia and Ethiopia, empowering thousands of teachers to improve literacy teaching and outcomes. Known for her lively, bubbly personality and creative approach to phonics delivery, Clare brings joy and energy to every session. Her training style blends deep practical understanding with hands-on engagement, ensuring participants leave inspired and ready to implement what they’ve learned. Whether you’re a school seeking a plug-and-play phonics launch, a teacher leader wanting lively CPD, or an education system aiming to reignite learner voices, Clare is passionate about partnering with you to create thriving literacy cultures. Let’s connect and transform the way educators teach – and children learn – with confidence, curiosity, and impact.
