Dr Arlene Grierson taught with Jolly Phonics for many years and achieved outstanding results with her early primary grade students. As she did so, Arlene developed the Jolly Jingles (part of the Jolly Phonics range) together with her young students. Arlene has provided numerous courses and mentored educators throughout Ontario in the implementation of Jolly Phonics. A recently retired university professor, over the past two decades, Arlene also taught Language Arts and Literacy courses to students at an Ontario Faculty of Education. For the past twenty-five years Arlene has enthusiastically provided engaging professional development sessions in the use of Jolly Phonics for teachers, parents and other educational partners.
