Annette Blackett is an enthusiastic educator, based in Goolwa, South Australia, with over two decades of experience teaching and training across Australia, England, Mozambique, and Papua New Guinea. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary), qualifications in Early Childhood Education, TESOL/ESL, and Indigenous Affairs, and is pursuing a Master of Education (Leadership).
Since 2017, Annette has served as an Official Jolly Phonics Trainer, conducting international workshops in Papua New Guinea that emphasise Early Childhood pedagogy and English language acquisition through the Jolly Learning program. Her work has positively impacted diverse cultural groups, fostering transformative learning for both children and adults.
Driven by the question, “W.H.Y. do we teach?” Annette encourages educators to reflect on their purpose, focusing on the 'What-How-You' of education to inspire meaningful global change. Passionate about empowering others, she supports English language development across the South Pacific Islands and Australia, guided by her faith and Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
