Jolly Literacy expands on what was formerly Jolly Grammar – offering two six-level programmes with resources covering Years 1 to 6.

Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation

Provides two lessons a week. It teaches new spelling patterns, dictionary and thesaurus skills, and complex grammatical concepts in an engaging way.

Comprehension & Creative Writing

This programme provides two further weekly lessons. Children explore a variety of texts that interweave the spelling, vocabulary and grammar learned earlier that week. These are then used to stimulate ideas and strategies for independent writing.

Sprelling, Grammar and Punctuation

Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar

This programme offers a systematic, progressive approach to teaching spelling patterns and new grammatical concepts, like parts of speech and sentence structure. Children expand their vocabulary and comprehension skills, and develop dictionary and thesaurus skills.

Teaching is multi-sensory and active. It also revises and consolidates the learning from previous years.
