What is Jolly English?

Jolly English is an Early Years programme that lays the foundation for phonics and literacy development. It is carefully structured to introduce young children to English through rich vocabulary, songs, stories and activities that nurture listening and speaking skills.

Specifically designed for children who are learning English as a Second Language, it supports the development of key language skills while gently introducing the 42 sounds of English in preparation for the next stage: Jolly Phonics.

Jolly English Teacher's Kit
The Jolly English Teacher's Kit (without puppets) is part of the Jolly English programme that combines English vocabulary and phonics to give children the best start. It has been carefully developed and sequenced for pre-school children who have little or no English. The course can be completed in a year and comes in two levels with each providing 44 lessons.
