Joy Osarobo-Obazee (B.A. Hons) is a qualified early years’ teacher and an accredited Jolly Phonics Professional Trainer. She has worked with several schools as a class teacher and has travelled extensively around Nigeria, training teachers in the use of the Jolly Phonics methodology for use in their classrooms.
She is currently the Lagos Island Manager for Universal Learning Solutions; an organisation focused on Jolly Phonics training for teachers in both public and private schools across Nigeria. She is listed for contact on the Jolly Phonics Lessons application.
Joy found out about Jolly Phonics in 2013 while interacting with a young boy she was contracted to provide extra classes for. She was inspired by the technique with which he read words and was motivated to find out more about it.
She has time and time again witnessed how children experiencing difficulty with reading and writing, gained speed and confidence as they applied the Jolly Phonics method.
